Sleep

Sleep helps kids grow, remember what they learn and feel calm.

Why this matters (for parents): Most kids ages 6–12 need 9–12 hours of sleep and teens 8–10. Keep the same bedtime every night, dim the lights and turn off screens an hour before bed.

Health numbers are general guidance for parents, not medical advice. Ask your family doctor about your own child.
