Private Parts Are Private

A mom talking warmly with a girl and a boy on a porch swing

Big Idea

Private Parts Are Private: The parts covered by a swimsuit or underwear. Use correct names (wording in the parent guide).

Story time

One morning at the kitchen table with a parent, Ben and Hazel talked about “private parts are private.” Kids who know body-safety rules are safer and know how to get help. Ben said, “Let's try it today!” Hazel smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
