My Body Belongs to Me

A mom talking warmly with a girl and a boy on a porch swing

Big Idea

My Body Belongs to Me: Body autonomy, and you are in charge of your body.

Story time

One morning at the kitchen table with a parent, Rosie and Owen talked about “my body belongs to me.” Kids who know body-safety rules are safer and know how to get help. Rosie said, “Let's try it today!” Owen smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
