Using AI with a Parent

Big Idea

Using AI with a Parent: Always with permission and supervision.

Story time

One morning at the homeschool table with a tablet, Ben and Hazel talked about “using ai with a parent.” AI is a fast tool for math and reading, but it can be wrong, so kids should use it wisely and with a parent. Ben said, “Let's try it today!” Hazel smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Ask a grown-up one fact question, then check the answer together in a book. Did the book agree?

Quick check

  1. What is the big idea of this lesson in your own words?
  2. What is one thing you can do today to practice it?
