Big Idea

Asking Good Questions: Clear, kind and specific.

Story time

One morning at the homeschool table with a tablet, Rosie and Owen talked about “asking good questions.” AI is a fast tool for math and reading, but it can be wrong, so kids should use it wisely and with a parent. Rosie said, “Let's try it today!” Owen smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Ask a grown-up one fact question, then check the answer together in a book. Did the book agree?

Quick check

  1. What is the big idea of this lesson in your own words?
  2. What is one thing you can do today to practice it?
  3. Who could you do this with at home?
