Sunscreen Every Morning

Two kids in caps and long sleeves building a stone sundial under a shade tree in a sunny meadow

Big Idea

Sunscreen Every Morning: Put it on as part of the morning routine, reapply when outside, and don't forget ears, nose and neck.

Story time

One morning at the flower meadow, Ben and Hazel talked about “sunscreen every morning.” Fair skin burns fast, and sun-smart habits protect skin for life. Ben said, “Let's try it today!” Hazel smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Do a Shade Hunt: walk around your yard or a park with a grown-up and find three shady spots. Put your hat on first!
