Screens Are Tools

Big Idea
Screens Are Tools: Screens can help us learn and talk to family, but real life comes first.
Story time
One morning at the sunny living room, Hazel and Finn talked about “screens are tools.” Balanced screen time leaves room for play, sleep, family and real-life learning. Hazel said, “Let's try it today!” Finn smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
Try it!
Make a family screen plan together: write when screens are on, when they are off, and three offline things you love to do. Everyone signs it, and you check how it went at the end of the week.
