Big Idea

Offline Fun: Books, puzzles, building blocks, drawing, music and outdoor play.

Story time

One morning at the sunny living room, Rosie and Owen talked about “offline fun.” Balanced screen time leaves room for play, sleep, family and real-life learning. Rosie said, “Let's try it today!” Owen smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Make a family screen plan together: write when screens are on, when they are off, and three offline things you love to do. Everyone signs it, and you check how it went at the end of the week.

Quick check

  1. What is the big idea of this lesson in your own words?
  2. What is one thing you can do today to practice it?
  3. Who could you do this with at home?
