Big Idea

What Kindness Looks Like: Kind words, gentle hands, sharing and helping.

Story time

One morning at the porch of a neighbor's farmhouse, Sam and Rosie talked about “what kindness looks like.” Kind kids make homes and neighborhoods happier, and helping feels good. Sam said, “Let's try it today!” Rosie smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Do one kind thing every day this week, like helping set the table, sharing a snack or writing a thank-you note. Each time, put a slip in a kindness jar and read them together on Sunday.
