Planting Seeds

Big Idea
Planting Seeds: Dig a little hole, drop in the seed, cover it gently and water it.
Story time
One morning at the sunny vegetable patch behind the farmhouse, Ben and Hazel talked about “planting seeds.” Kids who grow food love to eat it, and they learn patience and care. Ben said, “Let's try it today!” Hazel smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
Try it!
Plant a bean seed in a clear cup with damp paper towel and soil. Put it on a sunny windowsill, keep it damp, and draw what you see every two days.
