Making Friends

Big Idea
Making Friends: Saying hello, asking questions, and inviting someone to play.
Story time
One morning at the co-op picnic on the farm lawn, Finn and Clara talked about “making friends.” Social skills help kids make friends, solve problems and include others. Finn said, “Let's try it today!” Clara smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
Try it!
Practice a hello: look up, smile, say your name, and ask one question, like 'What's your favorite fruit?'
