Including Everyone

At a sunny farm stand, a boy hands a girl a basket of fresh strawberries while another girl hands a boy a peach, with a farmer, a hen and a goat nearby

Big Idea

Including Everyone: Noticing who is left out.

Story time

One morning at the co-op picnic on the farm lawn, Owen and Lily talked about “including everyone.” Social skills help kids make friends, solve problems and include others. Owen said, “Let's try it today!” Lily smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Practice a hello: look up, smile, say your name, and ask one question, like 'What's your favorite fruit?'
