Keeping Promises

Two kids bringing an apple basket to a smiling elderly neighbor at her garden gate

Big Idea

Keeping Promises: Say it, mean it, do it.

Story time

One morning at the garden bench, Finn and Clara talked about “keeping promises.” Honest, kind kids build trust with the people around them. Finn said, “Let's try it today!” Clara smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Make a promise you can keep this week, like feeding the hens with a grown-up each morning, and check it off every day.
