Practice Drills

A boy runs toward his house while a girl holds up firm stop hands at a large faceless black shadow stranger, beside a sign reading Stop, Run, Tell.

Big Idea

Practice Drills: Calm, fun family role-plays.

Story time

One morning at the farmers market, Rosie and Owen talked about “practice drills.” Aware, confident kids know how to get to safety. Rosie said, “Let's try it today!” Owen smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Practice your big strong voice with a grown-up: stand tall and say 'NO! STOP!' Then practice your home address as a little song.
