Practice Makes Progress

Big Idea
Practice Makes Progress: Short daily practice.
Story time
One morning at the living room by the piano, Ben and Hazel talked about “practice makes progress.” Making music and art trains memory and focus, and it's joyful. Ben said, “Let's try it today!” Hazel smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.
Try it!
Clap a rhythm, then sing it back with a grown-up. Make a shaker from a jar and dry beans and play along.
