Greeting People

A family at a sunny dinner table, a girl and a boy passing a bowl of salad while mom holds a bread basket and dad smiles

Big Idea

Greeting People: Look up, smile, say hello and use their name.

Story time

One morning at the family dinner table, Finn and Clara talked about “greeting people.” Good manners show respect, and good habits make every day easier. Finn said, “Let's try it today!” Clara smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Practice the magic words all day: please, thank you, excuse me and sorry. At dinner, everyone shares one time they used a magic word today.
