Big Idea

A Kindness Habit: Do one kind thing every day and notice how it feels.

Story time

One morning at the porch of a neighbor's farmhouse, Hazel and Finn talked about “a kindness habit.” Kind kids make homes and neighborhoods happier, and helping feels good. Hazel said, “Let's try it today!” Finn smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Do one kind thing every day this week, like helping set the table, sharing a snack or writing a thank-you note. Each time, put a slip in a kindness jar and read them together on Sunday.
