A girl and a boy in a bright kitchen topping oatmeal with fresh berries

Big Idea

Snack Smart: Apple slices, carrots and hummus, cheese cubes, nuts or seeds (if no allergy), and berries.

Story time

One morning at the sunny farm kitchen, Finn and Clara talked about “snack smart.” Good food gives kids energy to grow, learn and play. Finn said, “Let's try it today!” Clara smiled and said, “Let's do it together.” By the end of the day, they both felt proud of the healthy choice they made.

Try it!

Make a rainbow plate with a grown-up: pick one food of each color you can find at home, then count the colors together.
